Bartco UK continues a tried and trusted method of recruitment with the addition of 2 new team members.
Jacob Spencer and Liam Griffiths are our latest recruits.
Always looking to bridge the skills gap, we have a history of recruiting young people into the company, training them the Bartco UK way and setting them up for a long-term tenure at the company.
We have a track record of retaining staff for the long haul, continually investing in the progression of our workforce’s career paths and helping them grow and develop alongside the company itself.
Liam takes on the role of Workshop Technician & Jacob is a 1st year Technical Apprentice.
Bartco UK’s history of apprenticeships and developing young people is exemplified by the fact we have a workforce with over 60% of the entire team having spent their whole career employment under the Bartco UK roof, and 6 apprentices having passed through the doors since 2015. 5 of those 6 apprentices are still with us today.
Our General Manager, Anne Ashman comments about the 2 newest recruits:
“Jacob has a great attitude towards learning and a real determination to work hard, making him perfectly suited to his role.
“He’s very good at listening and following instructions, so Jacob has been a welcome addition to Bartco UK. He learns from those around him and takes on board the best the company has to offer.
“Additionally, his work ethic is great, allowing him to stay busy all day with the never-ending tasks to do which is actually his favourite thing about the job.”
Jacob himself mentions:
“I’m learning a lot and really enjoy the non-stop nature of the job on a day to day basis. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn and gather more skills and experience.”
Anne spoke of Liam:
“Liam joined Bartco UK as part of the workshop team, and his mechanical background makes him a skilled member of the group.
“Liam loves learning new things and works well both on his own or as part of a project with other members of our team.
“He started his time with Bartco with a solid foundation in motor mechanics, giving him essential skills that he can apply to the role, but he is also eager to grow with the company.
“He also has a fantastic sense of humour so is great to have around.”
